There are also vented shelves that improve air circulation within the cabinet.

Although most shelves fit 19″ rails & There are also brackets that can adapt many devices intended for 19″ mounting.

Ventilation Fans

Ventilation in your cabinets is critical for keeping vital equipment cool.

An enclosure blower draws cool air from a raised floor at the bottom of the cabinet and delivers it right across the front of servers or other network components. It fits on standard 19″ rails and uses only 2U of mounting space. This high level of ventilation lowers the temperature of cabinet hot spots by up to 15° F. Lowering temperatures protects your electronics against failure caused by overheating, which may enable you to install more equipment.

Fan panels or fan trays direct maximum airflow with very little noise to heat-sensitive rack-mounted equipment. Position them in your cabinet wherever you need them the most. Most network devices take in air through their front panels and expel it out the back. Filler panels in unused rack spaces help keep cool air in the front of the cabinet where it can be used by the equipment.

Caster Wheels

These casters are designed for organizations that manufacture electronic equipment, as well as clean rooms, and medical environments and more. These casters are a great solution for data centers and server racks. A&G Networks line of casters are a prime solution for server rack casters because they dissipate electrostatic energy. Electrostatic dissipative material is not anti-static, nor is it conductive. Anti-static material prevents the buildup of static electricity, while conductive material has a surface resistivity of equal to or greater than 10-kilo ohms, but less than 1 Mega ohms.

Server Racks

Server racks are heavy, so make sure you select casters that are rated to carry those weights. The rating you are looking for is called the weight capacity, load capacity or load rating. Casters come in three weight ranges. Light duty casters are for loads of up to 500 lbs. Medium duty casters are for weights of between 501 and 2,000 lbs. And heavy-duty casters are for weights of more than 2,000 lbs.

Most server rack cabinets support up to 600 lbs. of internal weight, so you need to look for casters that can handle that capacity. Just remember that server rack casters are rated for the weight capacity of each caster, whether swivel or rigid, and not for the entire set of casters.
